Nutrition Assessment Questionnaire
The Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ) is a symptoms questionnaire created by the Nutritional Therapy Association. The NAQ allows practitioners a view of client symptoms and where burdens and imbalances may be in the body. Using this tool will allow for the numerical tracking of symptom reduction and improvement along with insight into bio-individual protocols specific to the client. Taking more than one NAQ will result in trackable improvements for the client and allow for better individual protocol adjustments throughout the program.

GI-MAP (Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay Plus)
The GI-MAP test is a comprehensive, at-home stool test that will give valuable insights to the health and microbiome of the gut. It measures and detects microbial flora in the gut including both beneficial and harmful bacteria, parasites, fungi, and viruses. The GI-MAP can also show how well the body is absorbing nutrients, inflammation levels, immune function of the gut, and overall digestive function. This test is essential for getting to the root cause of your symptoms.
MRT 176 (Mediator Release Test)
The MRT 176 is a food sensitivity test done through Oxford Biomedical that gives insight into food and chemical sensitivities. This test measures the immune response that your body mounts when exposed to various foods and chemicals. If a food or chemical triggers a response, the immune cells will release mediators (histamine, cytokines, etc.) that can be measured for severity. The results will be used to help develop a healing protocol that is individual to you.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis
By taking a small sample of hair and sending it off to Trace Elements' Lab we will gain insight into mineral and toxic heavy metal levels within the body. Balancing mineral levels and decreasing the heavy metal burden from your body can result in better energy levels, reduced toxic burden, better detoxification ability, and proper utilization of nutrients. Certain mineral ratios give insight into nervous system, overall vitality, thyroid health, hormone health, adrenal health, blood sugar tendencies, immune function, and copper balance. Metabolic type can be determined as well to determine the best course of dietary and supplement recommendations.
